Concussion Treatment

If you or someone you know has suffered a concussion, immediate and proper care is crucial for a full recovery. The cornerstone of concussion treatment is rest—both physical and cognitive. This means avoiding activities that require intense thinking or physical exertion, such as sports, video games, or even prolonged screen time.

In the days following the injury, closely monitor symptoms. If they worsen or new symptoms appear, seek medical attention promptly. Gradually, as symptoms improve, activities can be reintroduced in a step-by-step manner, ensuring no symptoms return. Always follow the guidance of a healthcare professional throughout the recovery process to avoid complications and ensure a safe return to normal activities.

Remember, every concussion is unique, so tailored care is essential.
